Hoosier Cabinet by Scheirich Mfg. ~Vintage circa 1950 (2024)

You are bidding on a A Hoosier style cabinet with mirror and clock, made by the Scheirich mfg co, Cabinet has a black and white enamel pull-out table, Bottom drawer is metal. It has been refinished by a father and son team who specialize in hoosier cabinets. I am not sure of the wood used, it is not oak, but it is too hard to be clear pine. I would guess alder or sugar maple. Clock is a wind up (made by Mercedes, and works fine) and mirror is beveled, both are original. I believe the handles to be bakelite. Both upper & lower cabinets are in excellent condition and new rollers have been put on the legs. Repairs have been made to the enamel top. Most repairs are small, however t is a larger one located on the back of the table which luckily is never seen because, even pulled out, it remains under the upper cabinet. T are also three very small screw holes on the right top right side of the cabinet. This is a two piece unit; t are brackets that attach them. Seller will pack and skid this item for a handling & material cost of $30. To get quotes for shipping you will need the size of the packed and skidded item which will be approx. 47" x 38" x 42" high. & the weight will be around 150 lbs.
